Hyderabad police arrested three Kashmiri students for not standing up for the National Anthem

Hyderabad police arrested three Kashmiri students for not standing up for the National Anthem on Saturday. The students identified as Jameel Gul,Omar faiz  and  Mudassir Shabbier were booked under section 2 of the Prevention of Insult to National Anthem Honor Act. They are residents of Baramulla of Kashmir and  are currently perusing engineering in private college in chevella.

The reports says “ the students went to Cinepolis , Mantra Mall to watch” Bareily ki Barfi” at noon. As per the order of the Supreme court ,The National anthem was played for which the trio did not stand up.

According report “ A senior cop went to watch the movie who noticed that these student did not respect the national anthem following which he alerted the Rajendra Nagar Police. The student were detained and questioned for over three hours till late  night on Saturday . Police also raided their residence in Tolichowki suspecting them in anti national activity.
