Two employee from the National university of Singapore were hit by a fresh round of Cyber attack

Two employee from the National university of Singapore were hit by a fresh round of Cyber attack on Thursday. It was reported that the latest attacks undermined the computers of the two employee including a researcher who worked on a security project funded by the Minister of Defense .Accorded to local media report NUS  computer science research fellow Prosanta Gope’s computer was hacked on Tuesday after he clicked on a link in spar phishing email  from another colleague whose computer had also been hacked.

The phishing email was signed off by NUS Admin Team and it read that “Your NUS email account has been blacklisted and you are require to verify your account.”

NUS spokesman said on signs of malware of data loss were detected and phishing attempted were not linked to the global want to cry  ransom ware attack. NUS detected back of  its IT networks last month together with the Nanyang Technological University.
